I'm happy to be part of Merlik Foundation team. Being their first attache' and later their volunteer has not only strengthened my organizational, communication, and leadership skills but also gave me the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others

The team was professional in all its endeavours and fully committed to bettering the lives of the boys in lower income societies by moulding them into great men. Being a volunteer in such a foundation has been an honour

You can’t talk of Merlik without “a picturesque opportunity, served in delight”. Every engagement is not just a memory. You start building castles’, brick by brick, with a reminiscence of how amazing it is to serve. Always grateful to be part of the Merlik Foundation.

I spent nearly 3 months volunteering with Merlik and the experience was unforgettable not only was it an eye opening experience to see how the other half of the world lives but to make an impact so great to the community and touch lives was quite a memorable experience. Volunteering with Merlik foundation is very rewarding. I mostly enjoyed how the planning for the outreach was executed with the utmost professionalism, care, passion and most importantly love. I would do it over and over again.

Merlik foundation has impacted boys to realize that their dreams are valid when someone thinks about them and willing to mentor and sharpen their skills not only in academic but also sharpening their talents in acrobatics and football, merlik foundation kudos for your support.

My experience as a volunteer with the Merlik Foundation was deeply rewarding and impactful, as I contributed to meaningful initiatives aimed at supporting disadvantaged boys and vulnerable communities. I have witnessed the team incorporate a café of different ideas that promote a dignified life. In the mean time here is the testimonial. I had the opportunity to volunteer as a facilitator for one of Merlik’s mentorship program. As a volunteer i felt Merlik coordinated us very well, they made sure we had all we need to help us execute our roles well and above all i had a great time as a volunteer.

I had a very impactful and memorable experience with MERLIK. Sheila and her team really made a conscious effort to bring the biggest impact to the boys of Mkuru Kwa Reuben. We had insightful sessions where we learnt together about positive self-image and values. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into these sessions. The handbook that the MERLIK team designed was expertly and specifically crafted for this event. For many of us who have lived sheltered lives, we took for granted the positive self-image and values imparted to us in our families. For many of the boys, these fundamental values were not a given. I appreciate that the handbook covered the topics such as: self-esteem, positive self-image and identity. This gave us as volunteers opportunities not only to share but to also learn from the boys as well. I really like that MERLIK made us actively bond with the kids, which was amazing. We got to sing and play with them. My awareness of the kids lives, challenges and aspirations grew that day. I will make sure that I always contribute to the mission of MERLIK any chance I get.
